The Discover Scuba Diving Experience is a great way to try out scuba diving with minimal commitment. The DSD will allow you to discover the beautiful marine life of Utila's coral reef, and experience the underwater world. This is not a certification course, but the skills completed during the DSD can count towards your Open Water course.
During your DSD, you will learn a bit of dive theory, practice 3 skills in shallow water, and, once the skills are completed, dive to a maximum depth of 12m/40ft, all under the supervision of a dive professional.

The DSD takes just half a day to complete, and can be arranged for a morning or an afternoon boat trip. You will do 2 dives, the first dive will be the skills practice, and the second will be a guided exploration of the reef.

Reef Fees
Mandatory for all divers here in Utila, they go to fund our buoy system to prevent anchor damage on the reef.
